     As summer approaches, Cullman Swim Team is busy preparing for another summer schedule filled with practices and competition for our Cullman area youth.  CST continues to experience growth within our program and consistently finishes each season in the top three ranking in both ARPA District II and TVC swim affiliations, qualifying many of our swimmers to the ARPA State competition.  The growing interest in year round swimming has pushed CST to the point of developing a USA swim team in Cullman, namely Cullman Swim Association.  Having year round training available to Cullman swimmers will make us a force to be reckoned with, indeed!

     CST has been in existence for over 30 years and is a Cullman Parks and Recreation program augmented by the CST parents organization.  While Cullman Parks and Rec provides some funding and use of facilities, our parents organization provides the necessary voluntary manpower to serve as officials, timers, managers, and so many other jobs needed to host swim meets and to supplement the Parks and Rec program.  It is the cooperation between these organizations that provides our swim team with many benefits what would otherwise be unavailable.

     Each year it takes between $6,000 and $8,000 to operate the swim program.  These costs include coaches’ fee, ribbons, printing, mailings, trophies, awards, equipment, maintenance, t-shirts, league fees, banquet decorations, website expenses, and more.  So, in an effort to raise funds and at the same time offer your business a return for your financial support, we are offering website and t-shirt sponsorships.  Our website, www.cullmanswimteam.com, has been updated recently with a brand new look as well as more prominent space for our sponsors.  Our sponsors with websites themselves can now be linked through a simple click on the front page of our site.  Additionally, another page is dedicated to our generous sponsors.  Also, our team t-shirts are very popular year after year, and features up to 35 businesses on the back of the shirt.  These t-shirts are proudly worn by our swimmers, parents, and other family members year-round.  Our rates remain the same:

                                                            T-shirt only - $75
                                                  Both website and t-shirt - $100

     Many of you have participated and supported us in the past and we truly appreciate your help.  Without your support much of what we do would not be possible.
