Option 1:
Direct Route: (43 miles) take Hwy 278 east to Hwy 75 and turn right. This road leads directly into Oneonta. Just past Ford/Mercury on the right, turn right into Oneonta Recreational Park.
Option 2:
Old Route (backroads 35 miles): Take Highway 278 East. Go 9.8 miles from the intersection of 157 and 278 to Holly Pond. At the traffic signal, take a right then an immediate left. (Do not go on US Highway 91) This road will be Co Rd 55 once you enter Blount County. Go 5.7 miles to the junction of Highway 231. Take a right on Highway 231 South. Go 1 mile to the stop sign. Turn left (stay on Highway 231). Go 7.7 miles to Oneonta. There will be a sharp turn as you are coming into Oneonta. Stay to the left.
In Oneonta: coming in on Highway 231 you will turn right at the first red light. This is also the intersection of Hwy 231 and Hwy 75 with a Chevron Station on the left. Go straight through town. After the 3rd light, go approximately 1 mile. Just past Valley Ford/Mercury on the right, turn right into the Oneonta Recreation Park. The pool is on the left once you enter the park.
